Description of the tour
Start your adventure with a transfer from Fez to Merzouga, crossing the Middle and High Atlas mountains. Along the way, you’ll visit the charming town of Ifrane, known as “The Switzerland of Morocco,” and explore the cedar forests of Azrou, where you may encounter wild macaques.
After a delicious lunch in Midelt, continue your journey through the Ziz Gorges and stop in Erfoud to visit a fossilized marble workshop before heading to the magnificent dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga. Experience a traditional camel trek and stay overnight in a Berber camp under the stars.
You’ll also visit Khamlia, a village famous for its Gnawa music, and spend time with a nomadic family, learning about their simple and authentic way of life. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking landscapes, traditional meals, and the warmth of Moroccan hospitality.
The tour will also include stops in Rissani, Todra Gorge, and Dades Valley before returning to Fez through the beautiful landscapes of the Atlas Mountains.
